In your opinion, what makes The Vampire Diaries different than other vampire TV shows and films?
It’s very independent of all the other stuff out there. The books were written 15 years ago — before Twilight. It’s a very original story, and it’s important to me that my character and the whole story’s judged for what it is.

In which I am also the bringer of the bad news. Sadly, the Vampire Diaries is again going on a hiatus till March 25th after the airing of Fool Me Once. After that, we’ll have the straight airing of the final eight episodes of season one.
However, CW have nixed Melrose Place to fully pick up the Vampire Diaries due to the amazing response it has recieved so we have a lot to look forward too!
Since this site opened, in May of last year, we have had the same gallery layout, so I thought it was high time for a change! Both of our layouts are very dark so this one will be a shock to the senses but I really hope you like it as much as I do. It was made by the incredibly talented NoWhereLand9 designs.
Screen captures from last nights amazing episode have been added to the gallery! Finally we learn why Damon hates Stefan so much! I hope he forgives him soon … family time at the Gilbert’s was too cute!
