CW Schedules ‘Diaries’ on Thursdays

The CW revealed it’s fall schedule at the network’s upfront presentation yesterday, and has announced that Vampire Diaries will air on Thursdays at 8pm, replacing Smallville.

Thursdays finds the network continuing to have a paranormal pairing on the night, with “Twilight”-hopeful drama “Vampire Diaries” and then “Supernatural.” – Source

The move shows a vote of confidence in the series by network president, Dawn Ostroff and co. as it replaces longtime timeslot holder, Smallville.
