Simon Miller Cast & David Anders Interview

Posted by Laura with No Comments

Zap2it have announced that Simon Miller has been cast as the patriarch of the Lockwood pack, George Lockwood! His first episode will be the flashback episode, “Memory Lane” which will introduce the Lockwood’s ancestors for the first time!

Miller, a professional photographer, is a relative newcomer to acting, though you might recognize him from short roles on “Gossip Girl” and “CSI” or his indie movie “Between Love & Goodbye.”

TVFanatic also have a new interview with David Anders (Uncle John) who despite his grisly end last season will be returning.

What can we look forward to this season?
There’s the big werewolf storyline cooking up. As far as I’m concerned, Elena walks in after Katherine slices my fingers off and stabs me and she’s got a big decision to make. There’s a lot of Katherine and Elena. Nina’s got a lot of work.

Posted by Laura with 2 Comments

Zap2it have interviewed Nina from the set of The Vampire Diaries! I’ve added the video to the archive but it’s very shaky so if you get motion sickness don’t watch it hehe

“I mean, I’m sure Elena has had dreams about Damon,” Dobrev says. “I’m not sure if she was put in the position to kiss him what she would do. I feel like she has high morals, and she loves Stefan (Paul Wesley). It’s always been Stefan.”

Interviews with Steven & Michael

Posted by Laura with No Comments

CNN sat down with Steven R. McQueen (Jeremy) and chatted about the upcoming season of Vampire Diaries and Piranha 3D!

TV Fanatic have also interviewed Michael about Tylers tranformation in the upcoming season.

Throughout season one, Tyler was a hot-tempered human. How excited are you to be a supernatural character?
There’s going to be more storylines, and it’ll show a different side of Tyler. Like you said, all of season one it showed how hot-headed he was, snapping at everybody. Not only that, but for me to be get into the supernatural element and find out the lineage of these werewolves and such, it’s gonna be, not a hard task, but something to look forward to. There wasn’t much of Tyler going on in season one, so they want to throw all of these projects at me now for the new season. I’m ready for it!

Zap2it have also interviewed Michael Trevino about his role as Tyler and how his storyline will be critical this season!

Trevino’s character, Tyler, is not only dealing with some animal insticts, but he’s grieving the death of his dad (and the town “alpha-douche”), Mayor Lockwood. “It’s just adding another layer to the top of his inner rage,” Trevino explains. “He’s upset and he’s sad that his dad is gone, but then he’s also upset because it’s another move that his dad has made against him. His dad’s dead and was never able to redeem himself for how he raised Tyler, how cruel and strict he was.”

“Jeremy, he is pushed and pushed around emotionally,” said Steven R. McQueen, who plays Jeremy. “He’s lost his parents, he lost his first love, and all of a sudden feels like an outsider, feels like someone who doesn’t belong. He meets a girl [Anna] who is a monster and can relate in that sense, and builds a form of love from that.

TV Guide & EW Photoshoots

Posted by Laura with No Comments

Pictures from the two recent photoshoots taken at Comic Con have been added to the gallery! TV Guide have also posted a new interview with Julie, read that below.

TVGuide.com: What is Katherine’s goal this season?
Plec: She sets her sights on basically making sure that the Stefan [Paul Wesley] and Elena love story hits a snag. It’s going to be fun seeing Stefan and Katherine come up against each other. Obviously it’s fun to see Damon [Ian Somerhalder] and Katherine because there’s a lot of history there, too, but the triangle becomes the square.
