Season 2 Premiere Date!

Entertainment Weekly have posted the CW schedule for the fall! It includes the premiere date for season two of The Vampire Diaries.

Thursday, Sept. 9
8:00-9:00 p.m. “THE VAMPIRE DIARIES” (Season Premiere)
9:00-10:00 p.m. “NIKITA” (Series Premiere)

2010 Comic Con

This years Comic Con is fast approaching (starting on Thursday, July 22) and Warner Brothers have released some information about the panel for The Vampire Diaries.

Saturday, July 23
The Vampire Diaries (4:15pm): After a successful first season, there won’t be any Twihards raining on this parade when Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Matt Davis and Michael Trevino show up to talk about season 2.

Cast Signing in London!

We’re a little late with this, but better late than never! Ian, Paul and Nina are in London at the moment and will be attending a signing on Thursday 3rd June at 6.30m in the Oxford Street HMV.

The trio will only be there for one hour and places are limited so to get in you’ll have to get a wristband from the shop on the day of the signing. If anyone gets to go, enjoy it and let us know how it goes!

‘Diaries’ Renewed for Second Season

The CW has just handed a second season renewal to The Vampire Diaries. Season two will begin in September.

Executive producer Julie Plec on her Twitter thanked fans, writing: “Season Two pick-up, whoop whoop! Thanks to all of you who watch. You guys are the greatest group of fans a show could ever wish for.”

Martines joins ‘Vampire Diaries’

Stephen Martines has landed a recurring role on the CW’s freshman drama “Vampire Diaries”, he will play a bad-ass vampire named Frederick who is locked in the tomb where Katherine (Nina Dobrev) was once thought to be and is up to no good when release.

Stephen Martines, a former soap star who started off on “General Hospital” and “The Guiding Light”, recently recurred on TNT’s crime drama “The Closer”, where he played a news reporter who asked Brenda (Kyra Sedgwick) some tough questions.
