TV Guide Magazine and Warner Bros. Television have collaborated for a special edition celebrating shows like The Vampire Diaries and Smallville. There will be four separate covers and Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, and Ian Somerhalder are featured on one of them!

Check out all four original covers and then dig into the exclusive stories, from a Vampire Diaries’ family tree to must-see Supernatural episodes, Q&As with the casts of many Warner Bros.’ shows and an interview with the man behind the Human Target comics.

In other news, filming for season two has started today! Earlier Ian tweeted a picture of the cover of his script. From the picture we can see that the first episode of season 2 will be titled The Return! @ninadobrev has also tweeted a very cool picture of her filming a rather bloody scene!

Latest Interviews

The cast have been doing the rounds lately and a few new interviews have popped up. I’ve missed posting them individually so here is a list of them!

Candice Accola interviewed by Orlando Sentinel

Q. What will viewers see the rest of this season?
A. “There are four new episodes. The last is May 13. Everyone has a lot to do in the finale. Everyone’s in it. The whole finale is one giant cliffhanger. The only thing I can say is there’s a parade. Anything more I say gives something away.”

Candice Accola interviewed by Kidult

In what ways are you similar to Caroline?
She’s trying to figure out what she wants from love. A lot of girls can relate to that, including me.

Malese Jow interviewed by Hollywood Crush.

Malese recalled to Hollywood Crush that when she auditioned for the part, all she had to go on was a short description that said Anna was supposed to be a shy and geeky girl. “There was really nothing in there that made me think that she was going to be a vampire,”.

Nina Dobrev on Elena’s look-alike dilemma and more

Congratulations on all the success! To win something like a People’s Choice Award, that’s voted on by fans, must be incredibly gratifying.

We felt so good to be nominated, but you never really expect to win, and then they didn’t fly any of us out there, so we just assumed that we didn’t win it. We wrapped for the day in Atlanta and went out to dinner, a couple of us, and we got a text message that we won and we all kind of freaked out, like, “What? Really? Are you serious?” It was very cool.

Do you like filming in Atlanta? You’re far from home.

I’m kind of a globetrotter. I’ve been traveling since I was born and living in different locations. In the last year and a half alone I’ve moved three times, so for me, home is really wherever I’m staying at the moment. I’ve made a good home here, in Atlanta. I’ve gained a new family. The cast and the crew and the producers and the writers and the directors — we love each other. We take care of each other.

What do you guys all do when you’re not working?

We’re rarely not working! When we do get a little time off, I tend to watch movies, go to dinners and keep it low-key. Though, it was recently my birthday, and that night the CW gave me a car and I was able to go out with my friends from L.A. and go out for my first drink. This past weekend I flew out with the entire cast and we went to Vegas. For the 21, you’ve gotta do Vegas! [Continue Reading]
