People.com has apt wordings for their “Best of 2009” poll about Hottest Vampires. Since Robert Pattinson isn’t nominated, the poll is titled “Who’s the Second Hottest Vampire?”
Both Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder are nominated, along with Peter Facinelli (Twilight), Kellan Lutz (Twilight), Stephen Moyer (True Blood), Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood), and Chris Massoglia (Cirque Du Freak)
Go here to vote for the Salvatore brothers!

Apologies from my side too – like Laura, university for me is in full swing too!
The Vampire Diaries has been counted as one of Fall’s 6 Buzziest Shows (along with Glee, The Good Wife, Modern Family, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and Parks & Recreation), crediting the show’s success to the current vampire trend, “breakout star” Ian Somerhalder, and a still-growing audience. E!Online have just reported that the CW have now confirmed that Kelly Hu has indeed been cast in The Vampire Diaries. Details on who she will play are behind the spoilers cut. Apparently we will first see her on January 28th!

Hey everyone,
I’m so sorry for not updating in a few weeks, University has been very very hectic and I’ve not had chance. Thankfully, I haven’t missed anything too major! The gallery has been updated with various pictures from events that some of the cast have attended over the past few weeks as well as those rather scary pictures of Ian getting vamped up!
It has also been announced that James Remar has been cast as Guiseppe Salvatore and it is rumored that Kelly Hu has been cast, but this one isn’t official … yet!
I may just have to make you my Queen of Shadows. I’ve had many companions, girls as young as you and women who were the beauties of Europe. But you’re the one I want at my side. Ruling, taking what we want when we want it. Would that be so bad?
