Variety is reporting that The Vampire Diaries will kick off its first season on September 10th @ 8pm on The CW. Seems like a good date to me, I’m so glad we don’t have to wait too far into September.

Last night Nina, Candice, Kayla and Michael Trevino attended the A Beautiful Life And The Vampire Diaries Kick Off Party which was held in Miami! Sadly neither Paul or Ian made an appearance, hopefully we’ll see the boys hit the red carpet sometime soon.

E!Online have released a preliminary time table for this year’s Comic con! This isn’t set in stone and will most probably change when Comic Con release their official time table. For now it looks as if The Vampire Diaries panel will take place on Saturday 25th at 6pm.
4:45-5:45 p.m.: Human Target
6-7 p.m.: Vampire Diaries
7:15-8 p.m.: MythBusters
The CW have also released a new commercial, “TV To Talk About”. TVD is featured but only briefly, don’t blink or you might miss it! :] The video has been added to our video archive and can be viewed behind the cut.
